extraordinary. We coach the project team to design the
project as a "breakthrough" project, execute it in highly
accountable, breakthrough fashion and complete the
project in a manner that has the whole organization
(or division) learn from the accomplishment and experience
the success as theirs.

Depending on the nature of the breakthrough project, usually anywhere from 3 to 12 months.

The E-Z Pay team took on an initiative to put "check by phone" into the call centers. The group was made up of five associates. They just said, "This is what we'll do, this is the time frame." The experts said, "you can't do it; there's not enough time. It's impossible." The team said, "We're committed to this; we need your support to make it happen." They weren't giving ground. They pulled it off in a period of about four months. A whole new level of leadership is emerging.
